NSGA’s first study of the sporting goods shopper will provide the understanding of how consumers navigate the purchasing process, which is essential for revealing business growth opportunities. Make a Difference

Attendees and NSGA staff members will have an exciting opportunity to give back to the community and support sports participants by helping the Austin Parks and Recreation Department with cleanup and repair projects at the multi-use Roy G. Guerrero Park. Attendees are encouraged to arrange their travel plans around this great volunteer opportunity.  Ground transportation will be provided for a trip to the airport that will take less than 15 minutes. Pre-registration is requested so these arrangements can be made.

The NSGA Management Conference and Team Dealer Summit, the longest-running event of its kind and the premier educational and networking event in the sporting goods industry, will provide plenty of formal and informal opportunities for networking with leaders and colleagues from all corners of the industry at the Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa. The keynote speakers to start each morning session are baseball Hall of Famer Cal Ripken Jr., on May 4, and former professional golfer and popular golf analyst and author David Feherty on May 5.

NSGA will unveil its inaugural INNOVATIONS ARENA to showcase new sporting goods and retail technology products on May 4. Two deserving companies will be recognized for their contributions to the industry at the fourth annual NSGA All-Star Awards Luncheon on May 4. On the evening of May 5, David Beckerman of Starter and the late Bill Jackson of Bill Jackson’s Shop For Adventure will be inducted into the Sporting Goods Industry Hall of Fame.

There will also be a variety of social and networking opportunities for attendees.
