Recipient of the Arthur Ashe Award for Courage at the 2010 ESPY Awards and the Missouri Valley Conference’s Most Courageous Award, Aaron Thomas shared his family’s story of handling adversity and turning it into opportunity.

Lt. Col. Waldo Waldman is a Hall of Fame leadership speaker, executive coach and author of the New York Times and Wall Street Journal bestseller “Never Fly Solo®.” He is an expert on change management, peak performance and resilience. A key message in his keynotes is people can’t reach their highest potential alone and they need wingmen to help win in times of adversity.

His compelling stories and strategies on overcoming obstacles, performing under pressure and servant-based leadership are very relevant to organizations looking to create a courageous “One Team, One Mission” performance-focused culture of collaboration and trust.

Herm Edwards – The Changing Landscape and State of College Football

Former NFL player, coach and ESPN Analyst, Herm Edwards shared experiences from his career and the demands of coaching in college football’s current landscape.

How Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Enhances Your Business

This panel discussion, “How Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Enhances Your Business” looked at the importance of building more diverse teams, connecting with diverse customers and investing in multicultural communities. It was led by John Scipio, the CEO of SV Sports. Scipio was part of the acquisition of SV Sports in 2021 and it is now the largest African American owned and led sporting goods retailer and team dealer in North America. Scipio also worked with Nike.

Understanding the Impact of Name, Image and Likeness (NIL)

The panel discussion on “Understanding the Impact of Name, Image and Likeness” looked at the new impact of NIL for college athletes and the opportunities for businesses. Megan Curry, the Director of NIL – Business Development and Marketing with WME Sports, led this panel. Curry collaborates to build its NIL platforms, strategy and implementation. She also worked at adidas for 13 years.

Unlocking Supply Chain Complexities and Challenges

The panel discussion on “Unlocking Supply Chain Complexities and Challenges” looked at the various global factors that impact the ability to get products. Leading the discussion was Chris Lee, a lecturer in the nationally recognized Supply Chain Management Department at Arizona State University’s W.P. Carey School of Business. Lee has 25 years of supply chain management experience and 20 years of logistics experience with the U.S. Navy.
