The research and information that we get (as a HDA member), the network support and being able to talk to different dealers that are part of HDA is so valuable…it brings together people that I typically wouldn't connect with. It also brings an element of legitimacy into our business, as a part of the group instead of just a stand-alone hockey dealer.

It's been a very challenging year, but our affiliation with HDA/NSGA has been a huge benefit to us. We feel like we have somewhere to turn for help, whether it's navigating PPP loans or negotiating better deals with companies for freight or discounts. People like Tom Van Jacobs and Marty Maciaszek at HDA/NSGA truly care about all its members and it's very rewarding to know they have our back. The last thing I love about the membership is it brings us together with other businesses across the country to share ideas and solutions. We are stronger as a group than as one. I highly recommend the HDA/NSGA.

The networking with other like-minded retailers is invaluable and being a Hockey Dealers Association member, and participant in the collaboration with Sports Distributors of Canada, allows us to have exclusive products that many competitors are unable to acquire. The membership has provided many valuable resources, especially during the pandemic.

Being a member of NSGA and HDA is well worth the investment. When we need any specific help I always know I can send an email or make a call and someone will get back to me with an answer. The reports and other information is a great benefit. The information they gather and make available to us is priceless. They always have our best interests in mind with whatever they are doing.
