Living Wage Now Act
HR 505
Proposed in January 2023, the Living Wage Now Act (HR 505) would increase the federal minimum wage for regular employees from $7.25 an hour to $15 an hour. This legislation does not have other cosponsors nor a companion bill in the Senate. The bill would increase costs for employers and is subsequently on NSGA’s watchlist.
