NFHS Authenticating Mark Fee

In December 2016, NSGA was informed that the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) was proposing a significant increase in its Authenticating Mark Program. NSGA President and CEO Matt Carlson sent a letter to NFHS Executive Director Bob Gardner in early January 2017 expressing his concerns, asking how the additional revenue would be used and suggesting a smaller increase. Fortunately, this helped NFHS opt for a smaller 15-cent increase to 50 cents for use of its AMP. The increase took effect Jan. 1, 2018.
