Sporting Goods CPI Through June 2024

The June 2024 Sporting Goods CPI decreased 1.2% vs. June 2023, marking the 16th consecutive month the index has decreased. Previously, the Sporting Goods CPI had increased each month from October 2020 through February 2023. In comparison, the overall product index has continued to increase.

The June 2024 Sporting Goods Retailers PPI increased 3.2% vs. June 2023. This marks the 2nd straight month the index has increased. The Sporting Goods Retailers PPI has now increased 9 out of the last 12 months dating back to July 2023.
