Bauer, Elite Hockey Receive SDC Vendor Awards

NIAGARA FALLS, ONTARIO (November 7, 2023) – Bauer Hockey was awarded the “Hockey Vendor of the Year” award and Elite Hockey won the inaugural “Hockey Accessory Vendor of the Year” award at the annual Sports Distributors of Canada (SDC) Buying and Marketing Show on November 6-8, 2023, at the Scotiabank Convention Centre in Niagara Falls, Ontario.

The “Hockey Vendor of the Year” award was handed out to Bauer by Brad Hause, President of SDC, to Bryan McDermott, Senior Director of Sales North America, and several members from the Bauer team in attendance at the vendor reception. SDC also presented the “Hockey Accessory Vendor of the Year” award to Elite Hockey, a division of Icon-Elite Group Inc., and George Nehme, the Chief Executive Officer. Elite Hockey was a significant partner in the development and launch of the Source branded “S – HOCKEY” apparel and accessories collection.

The SDC annual Buying and Marketing Show had 675 attendees, including members from stores across the U.S. and Canada, and vendor partners who hosted 153 booths across the show floor.

The SDC team will be hosting everyone again at its next show, which will be held in Niagara Falls, Ontario from June 19-21, 2024.
