NJCAA Renews Contracts with Spalding for Basketball, Dudley for Softball

CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA (July 15, 2019) – The National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) has announced contract renewals with Spalding® and Dudley® for five-year agreements. Spalding® will continue to serve as the official basketball while Dudley® will continue its partnership as the official softball of the association. 

Spalding®, the parent company to Dudley®, initially partnered with the NJCAA in 2013 as the Official Basketball of the association. Dudley® has served as the Official Softball of the NJCAA since 1983.

“Spalding and Dudley’s longstanding partnership with the NJCAA has proved to be a great relationship for both sides,” stated NJCAA President & CEO Dr. Christopher Parker. “The contract renewals are a testament to the quality products provided to our membership from both Spalding and Dudley. Our student-athletes will be able to continuously compete at the highest level thanks to our partnership with both parties.”

Member institutions from around the country will continue to utilize Spalding’s TF-1000 Legacy product that is cushioned for control and built for a true bounce.

Dudley’s NFHS THUNDER HEAT® Fastpitch Softball will continue to be the primary ball for all NJCAA student-athletes on the softball diamond.
