Trigon Sports Announces Acquisition of Proper Pitch, Inc.

MEMPHIS, TENNESSEE (November 7, 2025) — Trigon Sports announced the acquisition of Proper Pitch, Inc., headquartered in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina.

Proper Pitch has been a producer of American-made pitching mounds since the mid-1990s and has operated under the ownership of Glen Passner since 2002. Under Passner’s leadership, the company achieved significant growth and established itself as a premier manufacturer of pitching mounds and baseball training aids within the sporting goods industry.

Following the acquisition, Trigon Sports will transition all manufacturing operations of Proper Pitch products to its Memphis, Tennessee facility. This consolidation will enable Trigon Sports to enhance production efficiency while maintaining the same level of quality and craftsmanship that customers have come to expect from the Proper Pitch brand.
