NIAGARA FALLS, ONTARIO (July 7, 2025) – Sports Distributors of Canada (SDC) hosted its bi-annual Buying and Marketing Show at the Scotiabank Convention Centre in Niagara Falls, Ontario from June 18-20, 2025. There were 700 attendees at the show, including member store owners from stores across Canada, and vendor partners who hosted 115 booths across the show floor.
During the show, a vendor reception was held where the “Vendor of the Year” awards were handed out in various categories. Recognizing our outstanding vendor partners on behalf of all member store owners were Brad Hause, President of SDC, and Matt Brassard, Chairman of the SDC Board of Directors and Owner of Sports Connection Source for Sports in Medicine Hat, Alberta.
Hardgoods Vendor of the Year was awarded to Rawlings Sporting Goods

Footwear Vendor of the Year was awarded to New Balance.

Apparel Vendor of the Year was awarded to SanMar.
Accepted by Darren McCready, National Sales Manager.
SanMar is a member and supporter of NSGA.
The SDC team hosts its next show November 10-12, 2025 in Niagara Falls, Ontario.
SDC and the Source for Sports stores are members of NSGA and the Hockey Dealers Association (HDA).
