ST. CLAIR SHORES, MICHIGAN (September 4, 2026) – STAHLS’ Hotronix® introduced an updated 6″ x 6″ Threadable LowRider Auto Clam Heat Press with a new platen configuration.  This compact, production-ready solution is great for collar labels, small patches and other small-format designs. The new platen design makes it easier to position items for seamless two-sided printing while supporting even pressure and faster workflow.

Designed for both shop and mobile heat-printing environments, the Hotronix® Threadable LowRider combines a space-saving clamshell footprint with a patented magnetic auto-open feature that helps prevent over-application. Magnetic assist makes the press easier to lock down, reducing strain on wrists and shoulders during repeated use.

“Small-format jobs demand the same consistency and efficiency as larger production runs,” said Ben Robinson, Chief Manufacturing Officer, STAHLS’ Hotronix. “The Threadable LowRider gives decorators greater flexibility for two-sided applications in a compact press that is easy to use, easy to transport and built for dependable results.”

An easy-to-read digital display provides time, temperature and pressure information for repeatable application. Over-the-Center Pressure Adjustment delivers even, edge-to-edge heat and pressure across substrates of varying thicknesses.

The press includes four interchangeable platens: 6″ x 6″, 4″ round, 4″ x 5″ and 4″ x 4″. The 120V unit weighs 28 pounds, measures 20″ x 10″ x 14″ and requires a dedicated 10-amp grounded circuit. Made in the USA, it is certified by SGS to UL standards and is CE/RoHS approved. The heating element is covered by a lifetime warranty, with additional coverage for the framework, circuit board and other parts.
