SDC Vendor Awards to Bauer, Elite Hockey

NIAGARA FALLS, ONTARIO (November 4, 2024) – Bauer Hockey received the “Hockey Vendor of the Year” award and Elite Hockey won the “Hockey Accessory Vendor of the Year” award at the annual Sports Distributors of Canada (SDC) Buying and Marketing Show on October 21-23, 2024, at the Scotiabank Convention Centre in Niagara Falls, Ontario.

The “Hockey Vendor of the Year” award was handed out to Bauer by Brad Hause, President of SDC, to Bryan McDermott, Senior Director of Sales North America. SDC also presented the “Hockey Accessory Vendor of the Year” award to Elite Hockey, a division of Icon-Elite Group Inc., and George Nehme, the Chief Executive Officer, along with his team, who were in attendance.

The SDC annual Buying and Marketing Show had 775 attendees, including members from stores across the U.S. and Canada, and vendor partners who hosted 152 booths across the show floor.

The SDC team will be hosting everyone again at its next show, which will be held in Niagara Falls, Ontario from June 18-20, 2025.

SDC and the Source for Sports stores are members of the National Sporting Goods Association (NSGA) and Bauer Hockey is a member of the Hockey Dealers Association (HDA).
