BURLINGTON, ONTARIO (November 17, 2025) – Sports Distributors of Canada (SDC) hosted its bi-annual Buying and Marketing Show at the Scotiabank Convention Centre in Niagara Falls, Ontario from November 10-12, 2025.
There were 800 attendees at the show, including members from stores across Canada and the U.S., and vendor partners who hosted 176 booths across the show floor, making it the largest show in its history.
SDC described the event as, “Overall, the mood on the show floor was very upbeat and vibrant.”
During the show, a vendor reception was held and the “Hockey Vendor of the Year” award and the “Hockey Accessory Vendor of the Year” award was handed out. Recognizing their outstanding vendor partners Brad Hause, President of SDC and Matt Brassard, Chairman of the Board of SDC, presented the awards.
Hockey Vendor of the Year was awarded to Bauer Hockey.

Bauer Hockey is a member of the Hockey Dealers Association (HDA).
Hockey Accessory Vendor of the Year was awarded to GAMEWEAR GROUP Inc.

The SDC hosts its next show June 17-19, 2026 in Niagara Falls, Ontario.
SDC is a member of the National Sporting Goods Association (NSGA) and HDA.
