Tecnica’s New GM Strengthens Alpine Division

GIAVERA DEL MONTELLO, ITALY (September 15, 2025) – The Tecnica Group appointed Luka Grilc as General Manager of its Alpine Business Unit, opening a new chapter of development and growth for the Group’s alpine brands Blizzard, Nordica and Tecnica.

Grilc has more than two decades of experience in the winter sports industry and has played a pivotal role in driving growth and innovation within the Tecnica Group. Most recently, he successfully led Nordica to significant gains in market share and profitability, establishing the brand as a leader in skis and ski boots worldwide.

“Over the last decade Nordica has experienced remarkable growth, and I am honored to continue this journey with two other iconic brands, Blizzard and Tecnica,” Grilc said. “Together, we have a tremendous opportunity to build on their strong heritage and bring even more innovation to winter sports enthusiasts around the globe.”

Using the Tecnica Group’s three alpine brands under one leadership is a strategic move to drive growth, sharpen brand differentiation and unlock new opportunities. By strengthening coordination, Tecnica Group aims to build on the heritage of each iconic brand, accelerate innovation and further expand its position in the global alpine segment. The new organization is also designed to enhance consumer engagement while continuing to invest in both retail and rental channels.
