Two NSGA Members Awarded Bauer Retailer of the Year

BURLINGTON, ONTARIO (December 15, 2021) – Two National Sporting Goods Association (NSGA) members, Gerrells Sports Center and the Hockey Shop Source For Sports, won the Bauer Specialty Retailer of the Year award at its annual Bauer World event in Miami, Florida. 

Gerrells Sports Center, located in Grand Forks, North Dakota, won the Bauer retail award for the United States. Gerrells Sports Center has been servicing the Grand Forks area since 1972 and has been a NSGA member since 2007. 

“We are honored and humbled with the award but this could not happen without the support of our employees and certainly most of all the outstanding support of our  loyal, long-standing customers!” said Eric Knudson, owner of Gerrells Sports Center.

The Hockey Shop Source For Sports, located in Surrey, British Columbia, won the Bauer retail award for Canada. The Hockey Shop, an NSGA member, is a family owned business and has been servicing the British Columbia area for more than 30 years.

Bauer Hockey is a manufacturer of ice hockey equipment, fitness and recreational skates and apparel and is a member of NSGA.
