DOWNERS GROVE, ILLINOIS (September 3, 2024) – CCM Hockey, a member of the Hockey Dealers Association (HDA), is close to finalizing a sale according TSN’s Rick Westhead. Birch Hill Equity Partners, a private equity fund manager, purchased CCM Hockey from adidas for $110 million in 2017, but is reported to be selling CCM Hockey for at least $570 million, sources involved in the sale process told Westhead. An industry source told Westhead that new ownership may increase prices significantly for skates and hockey equipment.
