GroupeSTAHL Hires New CFO

ST. CLAIR SHORES, MICHIGAN (September 8, 2022) – Michigan-based GroupeSTAHL, a global leader in the garment decoration and equipment industry, is making great strides toward the company’s mission of continued innovation with the hire of Derek Nugent as Chief Financial Officer. The addition of Nugent to GroupeSTAHL’s leadership team is critical in the company’s trajectory and growth as the globally recognized industry leader.

Nugent joins GroupeSTAHL with more than 16 years of experience as a dedicated finance and accounting leader in the technology, automotive, manufacturing and defense sectors. With vast expertise in financial planning and analysis, he most recently served as CFO at FIRMO, an automotive manufacturing company specializing in automotive interiors.

A forward thinker, Nugent is passionate about driving successful business operations and developing hands-on leadership processes. In his new role as CFO at GroupeSTAHL, Nugent will be crucial in assessing the organization’s business plan while helping to extend the reach of the brand and explore emerging opportunities. Nugent holds a Bachelor of Arts in business from Washington State University and a Master of Business Administration from Michigan State University.
