AMHERST, MASSACHUSETTS (March 31, 2025) – OrthoLite will be the title sponsor of the TransRockies Run 2025 on August 4-9 in the Colorado Rockies. This will be the final year for the six-day, stage-race format that the TransRockies Run pioneered 18 years ago.
TransRockies and OrthoLite are linked as pioneers – TransRockies through its high-altitude running stage race and OrthoLite through its branded OEM insoles for 550 of the world’s premier footwear brands.
“In the running category specifically, OrthoLite has an unwavering commitment to ensuring the best running shoe brands perform at the highest level, from the inside out,” the company said in a press release.
This year’s TransRockies Run is already sold out. Since its debut 18 years ago, approximately 20,000 participants have experienced 278 race days, traversing the Continental Divide between Buena Vista and Beaver Creek, Colorado. Runners have the opportunity to hit the trails with 400 of their closest friends each day and then apres with the same crew, socializing and celebrating each evening in a moving camp.
“TransRockies has been an event like no other, and it makes so much sense that OrthoLite, manufacturer of the world’s most comfortable insoles, is our partner,” said Aaron McConnell, president of TransRockies Race Series. “This edition of TransRockies will be packed with commemorative experiences and a select few of our most famous alumni runners as we prepare to bid adieu to the six-day format.”

OrthoLite will be along for every step of the entire stage race once again, delivering the most comfortable insoles to every runner, in addition to other key athlete support needs like nutrition, swag, recovery support and on-course shenanigans to keep runners entertained, comfortable and happy throughout the event.
“Having OrthoLite along throughout all six days will make this year’s event an even more unforgettable experience,” McConnell said. and OrthoLite through the race this year to be the first to learn of the new race format that TransRockies will debut in 2026.”
OrthoLite is a NSGA member. Founder Glenn Barrett was inducted into the Sporting Goods Industry Hall of Fame in 2024.
