US Census Monthly Retail Trade Report – April 2026

DOWNERS GROVE, ILLINOIS (June 25, 2026) – According to the US Census Bureau’s Monthly Retail Trade Report, sales for sporting goods stores during the month of April reached $4.82 billion, representing an increase of 10.5 percent compared to the prior year. Thus far in 2026, YTD sales are up 6.6 percent vs. 2025.
