SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH (June 14, 2021) – For over 25 years, Winter Sports Market has served the winter sports community of specialty retailers and manufacturers. In that time, many things have changed in our industry – supply chain lead times, the arrival of the internet, consolidation of national trade shows and the evolution of regional shows held by rep associations.
In response to these changing times, beginning in January 2022, Winter Sports Market will no longer be just a buying group show. Winter Sports Market will work with the supplier community to extend invitations to select retailers and suppliers not affiliated with the major buying groups and invite them to attend WSM. Why? WSM is compelled to bring more value and efficiency to the winter sports industry – both manufacturing and retail components.
Also, our industry has been asking for a specialty winter sports event where new products can be shown, buying decisions made and business relationships nurtured. WSM will be a stand-alone event but coordinated in timing to allow companies to attend other events relevant to their businesses. The winter sports industry has consistently shown an incredible ability to adapt. Recognizing that change is an ongoing part of business, having a physical gathering to share ideas makes us all stronger. One of WSM’s primary objectives is to offer an affordable and ski/snowboard focused event to our industry.
Winter Sports Market will offer a standard booth format in the main exhibit space or, if exhibitors choose, a limited number of private meeting spaces that can become a brand’s showroom to host customers. We understand that a brand’s image is tremendously important whether on the exhibit floor or in a meeting room and you are encouraged to work with the WSM team to help you project your image to our industry.
Winter Sports Market is excited to announce the following schedule of shows:
