GARED Makes Leadership Changes

NOBLESVILLE, INDIANA (March 30, 2023) – GARED Holdings, LLC announced that its board of directors has appointed Marcus Johnson as Chief Executive Officer of Gared Holdings, LLC (DBA GARED and PSS), effective immediately. Johnson will succeed Kevin Hinkamper, the company’s previous CEO. Johnson most recently was Vice President of Operations for Greenville Technology, located in Anderson, Indiana.

Johnson said, “I am extremely excited as well as humbled to be returning to the company in this new capacity. To be a part of a company with such history and a brand that has earned such respect and appreciation in the market is a privilege.”

Gared Holdings also announced the promotion of Don Carle to Chief Revenue Officer of Gared Holdings and President of GARED, Gared International, and Performance Sports Systems (PSS), divisions of Gared Holdings. Carle began with PSS in 1990 as an Estimator, then moved up to National Sales Manager in the late 1990s and was promoted to PSS Vice President of Sales in 2012.

Carle said, “It’s an honor to be associated with this company for so many years. I’ve been very blessed to be part of this team who has worked so hard the past several decades to establish a brand that is so well received in the athletic equipment industry.”
