Lacrosse E-Retailer, Team Dealer Lax.com Acquires Universal Lacrosse

NORWALK, CONNECTICUT (April 10, 2024) – Lacrosse e-retailer and team dealer Lax.com announced a substantial expansion of its scope in the marketplace by acquiring one of its chief competitors, Universal Lacrosse. The announcement said the acquisition makes Lax.com the largest e-commerce (Lax.com and  Universallacrosse.com) and team dealer dedicated strictly to the sport of lacrosse. Lax.com will also be acquiring Universal’s 10 retail stores.

Universal’s 10 retail stores will continue under the Universal name and Lax.com and Universal will continue to run separate e-commerce platforms. Universal’s team sales division will move under Lax.com.
