IRVINE, CALIFORNIA (February 14, 2019) – Great Park Ice announced it has entered into a long term lease with Ultimate Skate & Hockey Source For Sports to operate the Pro Shop in the facility.
Ultimate Skate & Hockey opened its first store in Irvine in 1993 and has enjoyed over 25 years as southern California’s premier figure skating and hockey Pro Shop. Ultimate Skate & Hockey also has locations in the practice facilities of the Los Angeles Kings and Anaheim Ducks.
“We look forward to opening our new location and becoming part of such a premiere facility” said owners Sandy and Roxanne Steindler. “Our goal is to serve all figure skaters and hockey players by providing the best customer service and equipment in order for them to excel at the highest levels.”
The Pro Shop will feature Bauer, CCM, Riedell, Edea, Jackson, Mondor, ChloeNoel, True and Zuca among other manufacturers and the Maximum Edge skate sharpening system. The shop will also feature the state of the art MyBauer 3D Skate Lab, which uses 3D scanning technology to measure a skater’s feet with laser precision to determine the perfect skate.
